30-Day Challenge, Day 2

Tammy BleckToday is Day Two of the 30 consecutive days in which I will Formally doodle selected Avatars. This 30-day Doodle Challenge comes to you in the spirit of growing, pushing the boundaries, and getting outside of my comfort zone.

Tammy Bleck is Witty Woman Writing. She refers to herself as “just your average girl who happens to be exceptionally witty, occasionally sassy and always mindful of what’s current, relevant, and happening.” She earns her living writing, speaking, and teaching about both.

The first doodle I did of her avatar was nose-less. (My earlier doodles only had eyes. When the mouths began appearing, noses did not follow.) At Tammy’s request, one nose was added.

I was thanked and informed the now-nosed second doodle could do with a pair of glasses on her head. Glasses added.

Again I was thanked and this time informed a microphone in hand would be appreciated. I decided to send #3 directly to Tammy (versus posting on Twitter as I’d done with the first two).

    Tammy Bleck Avatar

Tammy, always polite, thanked me, (though mentioned in passing the microphone looked like an ice cream cone).

This then is officially my fourth go at her Avatar. I write this with a smile. Tammy’s one of the good ones. She also knows what she wants and articulates well. (Traits I admire and respect.) The fact she was always pleased with the basic doodle of her avatar (only asking for accessories), made making the adjustments easy.

Great start to a great year ~ is one of your resolutions to expand your patience quotient?

    Tammy - January 2, 2014 - 12:55 pm

What a way to start the new year! To have been selected to be showcased in your Doodles? Priceless! I do love the write up. Clearly you’ve captured not only my image but my essence. Appreciate our association, friendship and kindness towards each other. It’s a girl thing. Something I’m grateful for. May your doodles live on in many a business portfolio! It is, after all, where they belong!

LOL! Love your Tammy-doodle. Of course, I love Tammy, too. :-)

Star, Welcome to 2014! The idea of my patience quota increasing is a charming thought. The only thing I recall consistently having patience for concerned rearing my child. However, there is the wonderful concept, “because I did it once, I know I can do it again.” Since I can be patient in one area of my life, I can bring that patience to another. Thank you my friend for being the catalyst to this train of thought. May 2014 prove to be the Year of Patience. *smiles*

Tammy, One of your many talents/gifts I admire is your ability to make whomever you are replying to — be it a comment, a reply to a comment, Twitter or other — feel special. You have a way of phrasing things which makes the recipient want to sit up straighter, hold their head up higher, do better, be better. I enjoy reading this when directed towards others. I feel honored and delighted when directed towards me. Thank you. Wishing you and yours a delightful, healthy, and prosperous 2014!

Kitt — Understandable why you love Tammy. She’s definitely one of the Ain’t-it-great-I-know-her persons. Always appreciate you stopping by.

By the way, congrats on both your novella and WordPress stats. *smiles as she claps & cheers*
