How to Face the Fear of Rejection

c.75ai.w Slay the DragonIf you have what to write, somewhere there are someones wanting to read it. You just need to connect. You connect by getting your words out there so they can find them.

With fear of rejection one of the larger blocks to letting others read your writing, rather than avoid rejection, seek it out. Take baby steps while your skin thickens and you build up your tolerance. Make a game of it. Keep score. Aim for:

*One rejection monthly for three consecutive months.
*Two rejections monthly for three consecutive months.
*Three rejections monthly for three consecutive months.
*Four rejections monthly for three consecutive months.

Keep raising the bar every three consecutive months until you have a lovely thick skin, your writing flows, and you and your someones have connected.
