Self-Reflective Questions to Ponder

a.119 Self-Reflection PonderablesSome time back, I put together a let-me-get-to-know-you-and-understand-your-needs-better questionnaire to help facilitate building websites. Going back to it recently, I realized that with a bit of modification the questions could be used for self-reflection (if you’re so inclined).

With that in mind, the questions seemed to divide themselves into three categories: Personal, Professional and Your Website. If you do decide to use any (or all) of the questions, I’d love to hear from you, be it in the public comments section below or via personal email. *Cheers*

*What would you do if money were no object?
*What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
*What are some of your FIQs? (foibles, “isms” & quirks.)
*If you have children, what values do you hope they’ll live by?
*What’s a pet peeve (or two or three)?
*If you had 24 hours to live, how would you spend them?
*What is your personal mission statement?
    *Write your epitaph
    *Write your eulogy
*What do you like about yourself?
*What do you not like about yourself?

*What do you bring to the table?
    *Why should someone hire you?
*What do you hope potential employers/customers take away from meeting you?
*What do you enjoy most about what you do?
    *What do you enjoy least?

    Your Website:
*What do you want your website to do for you?
*What message do you want your website to convey?
    *Who is your target audience?
*What do you like about your present website?
*What do you not like about your present website?

Tana, I am so thrilled to see you back. I just read all the posts I missed (I kind of quit checking because you seemed to have disappeared) and will check on a regular basis again. I was worried something terrible had happened (yes, I am a terrible worrier!) and am just relieved you are ok and looking forward to reading your posts again. Love and hugs to you!

Hey Sheila~Good to hear from you. Yes, all is well in Tana’s World. Still not quite sure what happened. One day I was posting, the next day I wasn’t, and then I was again — with a year gap between.

As for worrying, well I know how that goes. I even wrote a post about that some time back, Worrier’s Anonymous.

Rather than having to check into the website, the site is set up so you can subscribe. That way you’ll receive an email letting you know when something’s been posted.

Appreciate the love and hugs. *smiles*

I know what you mean. I haven’t posted on my blog for a very long time, but I’ve been dealing with my anxiety/panic disorder and just couldn’t write. I will sign up…didn’t notice that.

Sheila~I’ve always found having the email notifications come to my email much easier than trying to remember to go to the sites I’m interested in following. As for blogging, it’s got to work for you. If you’re not posting, you’re not. And if you’re posting, then you are. I still find it funny that one day I was, another day I wasn’t, and yet another day I was again. Who knows if that cycle will repeat. It didn’t today. *smiles*
