Seven Days for a Great Week

    h.18bw thinking of you

Day 1: Smile. Smile at those you know. Smile at those you don’t know.

Day 2: Pay Forward. Buy coffee for the person behind you. Pay the toll for the car behind you. (If you’re able — and really want to make someone’s day — buy gas for the car that will come to the pump behind you.)

Day 3: Give Compliments. Maybe the person has a gorgeous smile. A great pair of earrings. Did something extremely well. Look for it. Find it. Tell the person.

Day 4: Send a Card or Note via Snail Mail. Even in our techno-savvy era, it’s still exciting going to the mailbox and finding a personal note or letter addressed to you. The note can be as simple as “Hi. I was thinking of you. Hope all’s well.” Or even, “Seeing this card made me think of you. Good thoughts heading your way.”

Day 5: Split the Last Brownie. You wrack up brownie points (pun intended) for sharing the last one.

Day 6: Tell ’em You Love Them. Unless you and yours are telepathic the only way they know you love them is by you opening your mouth and telling them. (Alternate forms of communicating your sentiments are signing [as in sign language] or writing it.)

Day 7: Give the Gift of Time. Time is a finite commodity. Gifting time shows how much you care.

    Have a great week!
